COVID-19 SAFETY RULES
The following are additional rules for keeping safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. They are standard practice at most dance studios. Many of the rules are mandated by the Government of Ontario. They are subject to change at any time.
-
Facemasks must be worn by everyone while they are inside the DanceTown studio. Face shields alone are not adequate.
-
Effective September 22, 2021, you must be fully vaccinated and able to offer proof of being fully vaccinated when entering the studio. You will only need to provide your vaccination certificate once, as we will maintain a list of all fully vaccinated customers.
-
Use hand sanitizer before entering the studio, as you leave the studio and often while in the studio.
-
People, not from the same household, must be socially distant and stay two metres apart at all times.
-
Do not come to the studio if you are ill, have a fever, a cough or have contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
-
Arrive promptly five minutes before your lesson and leave immediately after the lesson. If you arrive more than five minutes early, please wait outside.
-
Private lessons are to be scheduled through your teacher who will arrange them with the studio. Everyone coming to the studio must have our approval beforehand. You cannot simply show up expecting to take a lesson as we must control the numbers of people in the studio. An up-to-date studio registration form for you must be always on file with the studio for contact tracing purposes.
-
No more than one person in a washroom at a time.
-
Wear the clothes you want to dance in. Changing of clothes is not allowed in the studio or its washrooms. Bring your dance shoes with you and take them away when you leave.
-
Studio doors will be open to facilitate air circulation. Fans, air filters and air-conditioning will be operating. Windows will be open as much as possible.
