Group Classes

Group classes are an excellent way to be introduced to different dances or to add to your existing repertoire. Group classes help dancers gain confidence on a busy dance floor, meet others who share their interest in dancing, all while burning calories and having a great time.

At this time, we can only teach 'couples' - two people who learn together and dance together.  COVID-19 safety rules require social distancing between people which makes it impossible to teach ballroom dancing to single people in group classes. Single persons can learn ballroom dancing through private lessons with a teacher. All classes are subject to the COVID-19 rules found on our website.

Prices for group courses:
4 week Intro course - $60+HST/person - Total $67.80

4 week Early or Intermediate course - $80+HST/person - Total $90.40

Introduction (Intro)
This level is designed for individuals who have little or no experience in partner dancing. We will take you right from the beginning to ensure you have a smooth start to learning to dance.

In the Intro to Ballroom Dancing courses we will introduce you to 2 or 3 basics of the most common social dances: Waltz, Foxtrot, Swing, Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha.

In the Intro to Latin Club  Dancing courses you will be introduced to 3 or 4 basic patterns with a focus on lead/follow and basic technique in the following dances: Salsa, Bachata, Merengue.

Early
In this level, you will solidify the basics that you learned in the Intro level while adding more patterns and more techniques to ensure that you are more comfortable on the dance floor.

Intermediate & Advanced
In these levels, you will increase your repertoire and technique taking you from a basic to a much more skilled dancer.

"We dance for laughter,
We dance for tears,
We dance for madness,
We dance for fears,
We dance for hope,
We dance for screams,
We are the dancers,
We create the dreams."
